In Seattle, instead of the regular New Year’s fireworks celebrations, a unique show was conceived. The New Year’s at the Needle show was made virtual in order to eliminate any risks of gathering in large groups, whilst also allowing those wanting to celebrate a transition to 2021 the opportunity to do so. The 10-minute-long virtual Sky Mapping show created a magical atmosphere at the Space Needle and aimed to bring the audience the story of love, strength and unity in an artistic way as closure to the hectic year of 2020.
